Happy Day of the Dead everyone. Originally slated to be celebrated in July and August, Day of the Dead is a festival to celebrate lost loved ones. It is believed that this day (now celebrated on Nov 1st and 2nd) is when the spirits of the dead return to visit their live relatives. Although it must be said that Day of the Dead is rather a festive occasion and not a morbid one. Thank you to Boy In The Well for letting me know that today is Day of the Dead.
